    HELP!
Can anybody help me with trim colors for a boring white house? I live in a small community in south Florida . Every house looks the same .The house is a very small white house with a light gray roof. The body of the house must stay pure white . As far as the trim and and the old shell style hurricane shutters there are no limitations. I am looking for something new bold and modern that would make my house stand out from the rest .

So, do we get a picture?
Really, it's hard to get an idea of what would be best without actually seeing what the house looks like.

Oh, you know what I would LOVE to see on a white house in Florida for trim colors? A lovely orange. I think orange and white looks delicious. Just like a cream soda, or dreamsicle, or something super juicy and tasty.

I would do orange, or maybe a really fantastic Gulf-of-Mexico sky blue, or maybe a pear-green. Those would be my suggestions. I would stay away from anything that looks like Miami pastel- because that can look really washed out. But if you go toward something summery, colorful but bold, and really crisp, I don't think you could go wrong.

The reason you can't post that picture is because you're trying to use a path on your hard drive as a URL which the HGTV server can't access.

If you can't upload it to a server prior to putting it on a link it probably won't work in this particular forum. But you can post a picture straight from your hard drive on the "general decorating" forum and just start a separate thread.
