I just had Mohawk Frieze installed 60oz. and it looks horrible. Every little things stays matted down. Even my 6 1/2 malti poo makes track marks. I expected some but, it looks awful. It actually looks like old carpeting that hasn't been vacuumed in weeks & its only been down for 3 days. Is this normal? we are so upset-it was very expensive & it took a lot of work to clear out all the bedrooms. any suggestions on how to handle this?

Welcome to shag carpet!! The longer the pile the more matted it looks. Can't give you any help because I tried to avoid it the first time around let alone now that it has a different name.

I wouldn't say that's normal. My carpet is going on 5 years old and going strong. It's a medium length frieze. This is the brand name, I can never spell it. http://www.beaulieu-usa.com/

    Call your dealer.
