I like it short too and I do like watching them. I'd be worried if they had long hair (like Chico's) even in a pony tail while using the power saws. Some time's I see the women using the saws with long hair and wonder why they don't take more precautions with their hair. Aside from the safety issue... with summer on us, I'd think the guys get HOT. Most of their work is done outside under those tents which isn't the same as indoors in the air conditioning. I cut my hair in the summer too.

I'm new here but this thread caught my eye so here goes my first post...
I don't necessarily think short hair is "in". I'm a stylist and I do believe that certain people do not look good with a high & tight, then again there are those who don't look too swell with longer locks. It all depends on the face shape, profile, build, etc.
A lot of hair trends depend on the area you live in as well. I know from personal experience that on the east coast it seems more men are growing their hair longer these days.

I really prefer the short hair, too. But Eric Stomer drives me nuts and I can't watch him no matter what his hair looks like!

I don't know I kind of like long hair especially if the guy is artistic. I like Chico's hair on DD and Andrew's. They both seem very hip.
