Vanessa my (then) 5 yr old granddaughter helped me for over 1hr plant impatients across the front of our home. SHe wore her gardening gloves much like "grandma's gloves".

She was worried she'd get them dirty--I told her that dirty gardening gloves shows a real gardener! About 5 mins later--she showed me her grimy dirt-filled gloves and said,
"SEE grandma--now I'm a gardener too!!!" I had to chuckle! She is a real gardener and knows her spring flowers and we share a lot with her mom too!

That sounds so cute. Now that April is here, she must love going to Home Depot to "window shop" with you.
