I only have 3 messages showing right now. Where did they all go? Why were they removed, if that is the case?

After the year end holidays people seem to lose interest in this board. So not as many messages. So sad for all the other holidays.

I hope it does not go away I just found it. It looks like the winter would be a good time to do crafts and go on message boards because it is to cold to do anything else!

I'm disappointed because this is where I destress after a hard day's work.

TKay. That is why they have P.J. parties on the quilting message board. Too cold to do anything else.

It's true but Easter is coming up and there are always a ton of craft inspirations that time of year. Get your thinking bunny ears on and maybe make something with a pretty Spring flowers motif.
It looks as if they have cleared the boards again, they do it every now and then, probably to keep room on the website. Also, Craft Trends is not as popular as is the Holiday Board or General Crafts. Don't worry, it'll fill up again. But it'll never be like it was ('ve been coming here since 1996) because there are no craft shows on HGTV anymore. Now they want you to remodel your house or sell it every 30 days.

Hi..I'm new to the message board here. Signed up just to find out what is going on with all the craft shows. I work during the day, so I would record all the shows to watch in the evenings and they have dwindled them down to nothing. Not one craft show now. What is going on? This was about the only reason that I would watch HGTV. Does anyone know if they are going to be putting any back on?

I hate that they are gone too! I used to do the same thing ~ record and watch at night. It was always good for inspiration and relaxation. I barely watch at all anymore. I don't think they have any plans on putting any back. How many times can you watch House Hunters or remodelling? It's too much of the same and not enough of what brought most of us to HGTV in the first place. I personally have taken to YouTube and have started to post some of my own videos in hopes of sharing and getting inspiration back from fellow crafters. I posted a video of candlesticks that I make. I would love to find other great ideas with the holidays coming up! http://www.youtube.com/user/CraftKlatch?feature=mhee

Thanks, Mona, I enjoyed that. And they were quite informative.

They're baaaack at least for awhile on DIY between 7 and 8AM EDT.
I had them set up to TIVO every episode maybe a year ago, then they went off. Walked by the TV and noticed the record light was on at 7:30AM, but didn't remember setting anything up. Anyway That's Clever, Creative Juice, Craft Lab, and Knitty Gritty are back on DIY. For how long.....who knows.

My comments can be found in Trash to Treasure....since crafting was suggested there as well. Many are surfing elsewhere to find new ideas. Guess our new expression shall be...hanging 10 in Crafting. Good show title if you ask me.

Is that a show?
When/where is it on?

Maryim, it's not a show. It is that many crafters are SURFING the internet to find crafts since there are so few shows on television programming. IF...the networks want to bring it back...Hanging 10 in Crafting would be title that could grab attention. OK....maybe only surfers might get the title. But it also implies....HANGING art/crafty items.
BTW...those crafters/home organizers are being sought after via their sites online. Then, after they have been given a spot on a show, they report about it on their site. It happened in Clean Freaks, as well as, another show host's program because the crafters write about being on his show. This message has been edited. Last edited by: trish212,
