it is an embellished piece of 1 inch square fabric or other material used for various accents on ATF, pins, cards, other crafts and wearables andalso swaps - does not have to be sewn

Pat, you may need to install Adobe Reader. The link I posted is a PDF file and opens with Adobe Reader. It's free to install and very useful.
I checked again, and the link I posted is working.

The inches are fun to make. I used some in a charm swap here a few months ago.

I am currently trying to find myself. If I return before I come back, please ask me to wait. (anon)

I love the inchies....has anyone made pins from these? Would attaching fabric to craft foam work for the backing? Thanks!

    HI ladies,

Just popped in here from the Quilting board and saw your post on inchies. I just finished making a batch of inchies for a swap that is winding down. You can do a lot of fun things with them - glue a pin to the back for a cute little pin, or make a magnet for the frig. While snooping around on the internet I found this site - lots of pretties here displayed in various ways - check them out. Big Grin

Also... I just hosted an ATC swap where everyone was to use fabric, laces, beads, etc . to make 2.5 x3.5 little pieces of art. I will be swapping them out Saturday so if you are interested in seeing some pretties check out our little fashion show coming soon.

    Nickilee,
Thank you for the web site of the inchies. They were beautiful. I am starting to do the ATC's, now I will have to try the inchies.
