Hope to see people begging to discuss these things again.
Why the 40 spam posts?
Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.
My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Before I realized it, I had answered one of those spam/ad posters. Maybe if we all jumped in and starting talking around them, and not click on their link, they would move on.
I have been away for awhile and when I peaked in I was seeing all those spam post. The worst part is I saw that so many who had shared their time and talents were avoiding the site.
I thought if I could pull up post where people asked questions and shared info ...plus a little humor it might draw other back in.
Just seeing those links to spam advertising was off putting so I bumped up what others had ben discussing before they showed up.
what I noticed and this is what is sad... newcomers came with concerns and questions and have not returned . I think it is because the spammers took the wind out of our sails...
I've said it many times in the past... I have learned so much from so many here...and I would like to see others have the same opportunity.
Not clicking on your link esteamshower.
