I just saw that HGTV has changed the Green Home to the Smart Home. Interesting. Now DIY just needs to change the name of the Blog Cabin. LOL

Does anyone know if they are going to offer Dream Home 2013 Tours in SC like they have in the past with the money going to charity? I haven't seen anything on the website as of yet. I was wanting to go and see it live and in person.

I am sure they will have tours as they usually do, but they usually announce a little later then this. It usually is at least March and goes on for a couple months.I was fortunate to tour the one in Sonoma, California. What a treat it would be to tour Dreamhome 2013.

Okay just dreaming once again but maybe THIS will be the year when one of our message board dreamers WIN THEN you are all invited cause we will have a huge party HUGE!!!

Is there any way I can hide Beachlady's pic? The pic is so big and it throws her posts to the side of the massive pic of a clothes-less woman. I'm sure she's a great person, but the pic is really irritating.

Every once in a while things get big here, but it is confusing why. I think she mentioned trying to fix it, but did not know how.

I love the house. Nice to see all of you. Beachy, I'm bundled up, hoping for a white Christmas in Denver.

Has anyone else noticed there are no closets in dream home 2013? I was dreaming how well my family would fit there and who would sleep were and there is not even a closet in master bed. I guess its meant to not actually be lived in??

Look a little closer, walk-ins in a couple bedrooms. Now the twin bedroom has a furniture piece as a closet.

I'd love to live there.

Actually, yes it is irritating and unnecessary for such a huge pic of a nude woman. I am a 10 year Dream Home Message Board veteran and have never seen nudity on this message board before. I was trying to be nice about it. I'll be making a complaint now. Have a nice day

BillAngFl I do not believe I have ever been disrespectful to anyone on this MB. Sorry if you have taken offense. I have been nice too. I am also a veteran of this message board and must say yes - there has been nudity on this board in the past. Not by me. However "I" am not nude in the photo; far from it(smh). I also have nothing to do with the size of the pic and have repeatedly asked "they" would fix it! Now....if you wanna complain? About something I have no control over? Then you should do just that. Maybe then? The dreaming of winning DH2013 can begin Have a nice day ;-)

Actually, BeachLady... it's common sense and common courtesy to RESIZE YOUR PHOTO and re-upload it. My husband actually asked me why I was looking at P O R N when I was browsing the message boards and he walked by. You obviously have a copy on your computer. Open it in paint and resize it and then upload it again. It's very simple. You can google it if you aren't sure how to do it. It's not about whose been here the longest or who posts most often. It's about common courtesy.

Hi everyone! Long time no see. My BL how lovely you look supersize. It's nice that someone offered help in your resizing along with a bit of unnecessary snark. I really, REALLY hope people can be nice. Way too much ugliness in this world.

OK...first of all, sami'smom, there was no "snark". I was trying to be helpful. The ONLY reason I typed P O R N with spaces is because the message board would NOT accept it otherwise. And suggesting that she google it if she's not sure how to do it was not "snark" either. I would hope that some people would reread the message in the helpful spirit it was intended instead of LOOKING for "snark". Thanks!!

As for my husband "looking over my shoulder", he does not and never would be that rude. He was WALKING BY and the pic WAS HUGE. There was no way he could have NOT seen it.

MommyRoxy, thanks so much for having my back. I couldn't believe that I was the only one who thought such a HUGE pic of a nude woman was unnecessary. Since Beachlady refused to resize it, I went into my preferences and found a way to hide it on my end, unfortunately now I can't see anyone's avatars or pics. But I guess we aren't allowed to complain about nudity here in the Dream Home message board. I thought this message board was supposed to be about a house but apparently I was wrong. So post all the p o r n you want fellow Dreamers, at least I can't see it anymore Now about the Dream Home... the only change I would make are french doors leading out to the deck instead of just one in the Master Suite

And this board has always been about the house I never refused to resize honey just between tissue scans for a transplant and I don't find immediate resizing a picture as part of my top of mind awareness these days.
