I happened to be home today for some appointments - and was surprised(and disappointed) to find the new season beginning at 8 AM CST!! That is worse than Elbow Room at 12 noon on Saturdays.
I love vintage and flea market styling, so I like Emily's show. It would be better than constant re-runs in the evening. Secrets at 7 or 8 p.m., and Elbow Room following.
I do not understand HGTV's thought process in scheduling prime time programming.
I'm lucky I have a DVR because I record it automatically. Love this show and the concept. I get so much information out of this and have learned so much from it. My absolute favorite! Her blog is great too. I just watched this episode on my lunch break and love it. The room was beautiful, but everything she does is beautiful. I think she's the most relevant of the designers they have. Everything is to the homeowners unique taste which I appreciate.

I posted on a previous thread about new episodes, beginning 6/27. They aired 2 prior to this week - nothing on 7/4.
IIRC, Emily indicated (on her blog) the others hadn't been aired previously for some reason, although HGTV may have called them S2 also. They often/usually air episodes out of order. Happy to see they officially started off S2 today, with Ep01.
Thought you (or others in cyberspace) might like to know so you can catch those 2 either online or in reruns, if you missed them.
Thanks. I did see the thread and didn't realize starting one about an official second season was incorrect. My main complaint, regardless if a person has a DVR,(which I cannot afford) is the inconsiderate time placement. Bryan (Bauman?) who has been on different shows now has Leave it To Bryan, I thought was on Saturdays, but a new episode aired this am at 8 CST. Why is good, new, programming actually featuring DESIGN relegated to these time slots?
Hi DF, just reviewed my comment. I never said your thread was incorrect - or even thought such a thing. As you know, anyone's welcome to post pretty much anything, anywhere.
Primarily because of your thread's title and first line, guess I (incorrectly) believed you were notifying SOAS fans about the schedule - as I was. I also believed (incorrectly, again) that you and other fans may have missed the previous two shows and might want to look for them online or in reruns.
We've talked about the ridiculous schedules multiple times here on the boards - usually under Favorite Shows, IIRC. That said, again, anyone's welcome to post about the subject here or anywhere else.
