An episode popped up on my schedule for next Wed. a.m., 9:00 a.m. EDT/PDT, IIRC. Don't have it in front of me so not sure if it's officially from the next season but the description definitely indicated that it was new.
Seem to remember hearing that Emily had another season in the can. If HGTV's burying it on a weekday morning, however, it sounds as if it could be her final one. We shall see -
Time to check your local listings and set your dvr and/or vcr, if you're interested.

It's beyond me why they're not putting these shows in prime time and relegating their vaults full of HH/HHI to daytime hours. I realize I don't know all the ins and outs of the industry but if they have them already, why not give people at least a token nod toward design shows rather than the constant real estate shows. I'm not a big fan of Emily's show, but it beats HH if you really have to have the t.v. on.
ITA, doodles. Don't understand why they need to bury the design programs and probably (eventually) kill them off as a result of the scheduling. Also can't stand the Saturday programming. My weekends are full so rarely get a chance to see everything. The dvr's great but it's still too much.
Starting to wonder, however, if it has anything to do with the product placement issue. Emily's previous season didn't include the obvious and frequent trips to either Ikea or Tgt or the other chain stores. Plus, she's into vintage and 2nd hand stores.
Could it be that the product placement shows from now on will dominate HGTV's prime time line-up to capitalize on higher ad rates? (They might be already - between DS, Gen, Mrs. Stern and SS.) Wonder if that's why DOD was recently removed. (??? Perhaps DOD will return after DS ends.) IDK - what do you think?
Emily isn't my favorite designer (well, none of them, actually), either, but I'll pretty much watch anything, if it includes even a smidge of design.
i wish emily and antonio would go back to evening schedules. cut back on holmes on sunday and put these two on then! i have to tape the shows to see them!
