After trim, shower head, spout, etc. are installed in a new tile shower, do I need to seal around them? If yes, what do I use and how do I proceed?
Blessed be the peacemakers.
I think clear silicone caulk can work well, if any of the trim pieces can be pulled out from the tile, place a rim of silicone at the edge, and wipe off all excess from the trim and surrounding tile after tightening down. Sometimes the shower stem is actually higher or above the tiled wall, so I would leave that as is, if that is the case.
