We're moving into a rental house for a while and in the tiny kitchen, I noticed that the countertops are really, REALLY SHORT! What can I do, if anything, to avoid the back ache of bending down to fix dinner or wash dishes?

I am at a loss here!

Thanks!

Build yourself a footed work area ( cutting board) style that you can use as needed... you can get bun feet to extend the height of a makshift work area that would nice enough to leave on the counter all day...
