I have a white small dishwasher built in my kitchen.

I have to replace my stove and fridge and am considering going to stainless steel.

Is there a way to paint or some kind of cover that can be put over the white on the dishwasher to make it look like stainless steel?

Seems like I saw it done on HGTV once but don't remember.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are various brands of faux stainless, self-adhesive films on the market. I imagine the big box stores have something like that on their shelves. Internet stores surely have it.

I'll let you in on a little well-kept secret about dishwahers.

A lot of them have a selection of colored panels hidden behind the one you see now. You can remove the top trim on the door and see if there are additional panels hidden behind the front panel.

If not you can easily buy a sheet of stainless that will fit in your door. Any sheet metal shop will be able to get it for you.Smile
