Hi, I painted my shower wall last year to make it look "Tuscan-y" but it looked sooo bad with water marks and such. I tried stripping the paint, but can't find a good stripper that doesn't scratch the fiberglass.
But after watching "Color Correction" I'm wondering if I can prime the walls and then use epoxy paint to cover the 'ickiness'.

TIA for any advice/suggestions!

(what code do I need to post an image inside the message?)

You are better of striping it. Adding more on top is just going to increase the "ick" factor.

Oh, and don't believe everything you see on TV.

Don't know if painting it is a possibility, but I think if I were in your shoes I would talk to someone in a big name paint store. Forget Home Depot or Lowes, I would go to a Sherwin-Williams or such for the best quality paint and advice.

You may be better off trying to replace the surround. Once you start buy paint and supplies, you may come off cheaper with a new surround. They sell some retrofit surrounds at the home improvement stores, I would check those out.
