We're going to put one of these in our basement. Anyone know a good place to purchase one? It is a weird size but we can cut it down. It is 51"w x32"d. The drain is off center too so will have to either tile the floor or change the drain and I doubt that will happen. The bathroom is very small so want it to look a little bigger. Any suggestions would be apprecitated too! thanks.

That is indeed an odd size. If it were mine, I would tile it. I give you some ideas on that in the ceramic tile topic on my website at www.bobf.info.

Thanks. We found one we can cut to size.

Hello Friends, Pre-fab shower units made of fiberglass or acrylic don't always have to be replaced entirely. Two options are available: spot repair with fiberglass compound or installing a liner. Spot repair is just what is sounds like. A repair until you can do the right thing--replace. Bathrub relining is considered inferior to a full replacement. It hasn't quite taken hold as an "honest" repair, but it's worth considering. Thanks and Regards, William Hayden
