Hi
Here is a photo of the Kitchen from the home we purchased. I'd like to replace the existing island with a larger island. But due to budget constraints, I'd like to keep the Baltic Brown granite countertop and Maple (rouge) cabinets and change only the island's countertop. I'd like suggestions for: * what matches with Baltic Brown? * since its a busy color with pinks, brown, gray and black, will absolute black or black pearl be okay? I'm open to all suggestions and ideas. Thanks DR |

I think you need a solid color (as solid as granite is, anyway) to avoid the busy look. Black would work, so would brown. I think a cream would be too light.
