I have a nice house and we have anold bathroom toilet tub and sink they are in good condition but they are the pink color of the 60's I think I do not have the finances to change them out so I am looking for a paint color or colors that would seem okay to paint the walls so it looks half decent. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

If you do not have shower doors, finding a shower curtain with pink in the pattern can provide you with a palette of colors from which to choose. When at a loss for a color scheme, turn to nature. Pink roses with green leaves and crispy white trim if trim is painted. There are many beautiful greens from which to choose.

When pink bathrooms were popular, the pink was often paired with gray and black. Gray is a very popular neutral right now.

ok since finances are low there is a simple solution. your tiles can be painted. don't get me wrong there is stuff you can buy strickly for porcelain. check with a good paint store or home improvement center.

or you can contact Bath Refitters the come and redo your bath in a day they are reasonable.

i've seen the bath fitters and it's an ok solution. My cousin did it in her home, There was an airpocket left in the tub that you seemed to step on each time you showered - oops!! But - working w/ the colors can give you something different and kinda cool & creative looking solution...

I am glad to hear you are working with those nice original tiles rather than tearing them out. I think they give a house charm and personality.

You might try posting pics on the decorating board here also...lots of good color advice to be had there.
