I'm sure most people remember the UGLY avocado green from the 70's. Our bathroom is that color...and I mean the shower, commode and the sink is that horrible swirly green and white. We cannot afford to replace all this. What can we do? I've heard you can reglaze the tub, but how??? The tub is fiberglass.

You don't reglaze a fiberglass tub but they can have a gel coat applied. Not a DIY project; call in an experienced pro. New toilet should not be too expensive and the new low gal types work great. You might find a synthetic marble top and bowl to replace that, and they are not expensive.
