I do not know exactly what refacing is. It is for our kitchen and I want to switch to the distressed black look. Any help is appreciated. Also, what do you do with the old inside?

I am assuming that you want to replace existing doors and drawer fronts with new ones in distressed black and that you are ordering these? If so, then the old doors would have to be removed and the face frames and exposed sides of cabinets would have to be painted black or other color of choice. Or, are you planning on painting and distressing existing doors and drawer fronts?
Interior of cabinets require no change, unless you are planning on using some glass doors. If cabinets do not have a finished interior, then you may want to paint the interior of the glass door cabinets. |
