Help! How should I unite a front and back door sidewalk? My problem is my driveway doesn't come to the house. I have about 45 ft of lawn between the house and driveway. The 45 ft of lawn is the side of the house so I need to put a sidewalk in for the front door but also for the back door, the back door being the one we use all the time. How would you go about uniting the 2? One walkway coming up the middle of the yard and then splitting? 2 separate walkways to the driveway? Or a main walkway towards the back or front of the house then split as you get close to the house? Thanks for suggestions!
It is quite common for the driveway to be some distance from the house. Have you driven around the neighborhood to see what others have done that appeal to you? Or you may want to post a px.
I think this is the perfect reason to go slow and plan out what you want to accomplish. Mistakes could cost more than you want to put up with.
Hire a contractor who can give you ideas and draw up a plan.
Some contractors can show you via software different approaches to the house, driveway and sidewalks.
Instead of cement, you might consider stone for the walk which could enhance this part of the landscaping which you might want to upgrade.
Welcom, spatn!! We love to have new people join us.
It would be helpful if you could post a picture of the area where the walks are needed.
