We are purchasing a home that has a front yard that is 150 wide x 500 long. I would like to plant FAST growing trees as a border. Any ideas.

Also, I need to shield my house deck from next door neighbors - on is above me & back by about 100 feet & the other is lower and about 60 feet away. The one above me has gorgeous views, so I don't want to plant 30 ft. high trees & eventually block their view.

Hello Evenly and welcome to the message board.

What zone do you live in? That will help in finding what grows best in your area. You also might visit your local nursery for suggestions.

We had a similar issue, not so much the view but the privacy from the nearby road. DH did quite a bit of research on both arborday.org and fastgrowingtrees.com. We ended up with something from our local nursery...but was still good to do some searching.
