My yard slopes towards the back. I have some landscaping rock along with some bushes. At this time, I have nothing between the grass and the rock. At my local store, I don't like the options. In a previous home I had the poured cement edging and it would eventually crack as the winters came and went. Any suggestions on what I can use that will slope with the yard and look nice? Pavers won't work due to the angle of the yard. Help!
On a slope, any edging needs to be buried part way to stay in place. Bricks or pavers would need to be on edge or soldiered up right, to create an barrier.
There are some heavy/professional grade landscape edgings that are rolled and stiff, but once again I think you would need to bury a good portion of it, or use a lot of long spikes to support it upright.
I would suggest you to get help from landscaping designers because they can blend your ideas with their experience and expertise and come up with something that is functional, practical, and beautiful.
