I have a new built in KY. My yard is a clean slate. After several estimates, I have decided to do the work my self. I neeed some advice on lawn edging. I didn't see what I wanted at the local apron store. Is there edging made of metal that I can bend into curves? If so, where can I find it? I tried goggling and didn't find anything. Not sure what it's called. Or, any suggestions besides plastic and poured cement? Thank you in advance for replying.

I don't think I've ever seen metal edging but there may be some out there. "The soil is the source of life, creativity, culture and real independence." David Ben-Gurion

I don't know why your Google search didn't find the metal landscape edging. Here are several product links that came up on my Google search: http://www.curv-rite.com/?gcli...3_sa8CFS1a7AodGU2fEw http://www.google.com/products...0359749970871285601# http://www.colmet.com/index.cf...roductID/2/index.htm http://www.surelocedging.com/steellandscapeedging.asp http://www.yardproduct.com/ind...oobgrbeub97h4b39nd66 http://www.greenlines.com.au/

We purchased metal edging at Lowes. DH was able to bend it into curves in our landscape. If you don't have a Lowes, maybe you could check into purchasing it online.

We have both the Sureloc Aluminum edging and the stuff from Lowes. The SureLoc has stronger, longer hidden stakes, while the lowes brand simply has long "nails" that let the head show from the outer side. Sureloc is only slightly more expensive. 48ft of Lowes brand...$100.00 100ft of Surloc....$225.00 Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can't..... You're Right - Henry Ford

Tremendous job! Love it all. I can't wait to grab some paint and attack my two faded chairs. Your color palate is so refreshing. Again, great job! Retired manager of the universe

To Help keep the Quack Grass out of my planitng beds, and since I could not find other edging that was not as expensivce and would work, I used 10 inch Aluminum Flashing for edging. It can be a pain to put in, however. Janet Macunovich, southeast Michigan gardener and writer, uses the plastic carpet runner for the same thing. That can be cut in half so you need not dig down 18 to 24 inches. The sign of a good gardener is not a green thumb, it is brown knees.

I had faced same kind of problem, because I bought a new house recently and I want to repair my paver with some kind of metals. After that, I consulted one of the best contractors about my problem and suggested me some metals those who suits to my house and also available at affordable prices. Even I am not satisfied with his suggestions and I searched through Internet about various kind of metals for pavers. So if anyone had previous experience regarding to this topic, please produce the suggestions. Paver cleaning Jacksonville
