like toots said, drill holes, insert anchors, etc. However, if all you have is a 1/4" or 3/8" drill, don't bother because all you'll do is either burn up the drill bit, burn up the drill,or both. Those 2 sizes of drills are not strong enough to be drilling into solid rock...you'll need a 1/2" or bigger drill(if it was me doing it,I'd see about renting a 3/4"-1" drill). These size drills are better for doing this kind of heavy duty work. After you get the holes drilled out, make sure & blow out any remaining dust, then squirt in some silicone sealant, then insert the anchors(making sure that the silicone covers the entire hole;on the back of the plaque, put some more sealant & then use screws/bolts to fasten the plaque right away. Here's another Idea. Make a box with a light inside of it, so your address will be seen from the road. Here's an example of what I'm talking about: http://www2.yardiac.com/long.asp?item_id=33808Keep in mind, that a common flashlight will throw a beam of light that can be seen from 5 miles away;you wont be able to read anything from that far away, but others will see the the light. I hope this helps. *respectful bow*
