Hi. I live in NJ, zone 7. Does anyone know of, or have any ideas for a gray in color ground cover? Something low growing that has gray or silver looking leaves? I have a large area, need something that spreads rapidly. keeps it's leaves, or has some winter attribute. Any help would be helpful, thanks!

Snow-in-summmer is a light greyish-green ground cover. It's covered in tiny white blooms in the spring. It spreads like crazy.

I'm in zone 8 and it stays grey-green all winter here. I think it's good for zone 7 as well, but check to make sure.

There is a picture of it in bloom in my blog: http://gardeningontherun.blogspot.com/search/label/snow-in-summer

It's in full sun. I'd like something that keeps some sort of foliage in the winter also. Even if it's not the same as the spring summer and fall. I know their probably are not many choices. I checked out the sites you both left.
