We are new to owning a home - and trying to learn how to care for our shrubs. We have a mystery shrub that is overgrown and would love some help in identification.

Missmoo -- post your question on the general gardening section of the forum and I think you'll get more response and perhaps the ID you're looking for.

I don't know what the shrub is.

The leaf structure looks like a rhodendron to me, but I'd have to see a pic of the whole shrub and know your planting zone to tell for sure.

MissMoo...glad you posted over here...but put it on the GENERAL GARDENING BOARD..the one just above this one. More gals go to that board and you should get an ID there!
If you can, give us your general location too...like I'm in SW Ga. and my USDA hardiness zone is 8b.
