Hi. Anyone know of anywhere onlinie where I can buy a "cheap" set of AMBER solar lights?? Last year Walart and Kmart had sets of 6 or 8 plastic amber lights. 20 bucks. They don't have them this year and either does anyone else? Looked around online but everything is in sets of 2.. Anyone know where I Can look? Somehwere where shipping is fast. Thanks!

You can give BJs Wholesale Club a try. They have a small but nice selection to choose from. Hope this helps. Murph

If Walmart had them then surely they know who their supplier was---or is. Ask them and get in touch with the company and enquire who has their product and possibly you can order them or visit a store that sells them.
Why the insistence on amber lights---their lighting is not utility generated and so are not bright enough to bother anyone.

The sun has to be strong enough on their cells to generate sufficient light. Might an amber glass (plastic) cut down on their intensity of light capture.

The solar capture cells have nothing to do with the color of the light that is emitted after dark.

Mgt, I was thinking the part of the utensil that receives the light from the sun--if amber, could that not cut down on the amount of sun that is given to the cell.
Personally, I have such system outlining my garden at the patio. White light is the only color Ive seen....but then I've not done a search on this item so maybe....

I've never seen amber solar receivers. Only clear.
