I have been using computers for over 20 years but have seldom seen a website where it is so difficult to find directions for how to post a question. Evidently, others have not had this problem. However, I must publicly admit my inadequacy in this regard. I need help. What is the secret?

You just managed to post. Just repeat the process (select "New", then "Discussion", type in your question, click "Post Now").
