  Patio for Above Ground Pool
Patio for Above Ground Pool Sign In/Join
We've had our 27 foot diameter above ground pool for years now without a deck. There has always been something "more important" to spend money on. Now hubby is thinking something on the ground instead of up around the pool would be better and I'm trying to cheerfully go along hoping there is something affordable that will look nice and can be enjoyed by both the adults and the grand children. Any suggestions?!

A paver patio can be DIY friendly, though I guess the question would be since there are grandchildren how old and fit are you and your husband. It is hard work.

If I were to hire it out, I'd look at stamped concrete. I like patios over decks if you're close to the ground. Clearly if you wanted it to allow jumping into the above ground pool at various locations a deck would be preferred. How long do you intend to keep the above ground pool?

We started our family young, so still willing and able! Smile This is a patio that will be on the ground next to the pool so the kids can play without the fear of them falling in. Thank you for your response!

I would just use the block pavers that make a patio on the ground. We have on on our side yard but you must use a strong weed killer to stop the weeds in the cracks.
