    Hi there,
When we moved into this house, the deck was made out of that Trex Decking stuff. ours is in 2 tiers and it is grey. I am not a big fan of it and trying to figure out what to do with it. just found out that i could paint or stain it.

if anyone has dealt with Trex decking and had to fix it/remodel it/change the look of it, I'd love to hear from you.
    thanks!

I have painted TREX but not flooring. I used a TREX handrail at a clients house and we painted it out. I also used a piece of TREX for a window sill on the same clients screened porch with good results. I would lean towards an opaque stain for flooring rather than paint. Either way you're taking a fairly low maintenance item and making it higher maintenance. It takes paint as well as wood and the window sill was still looking good after 6 years, at least it was the last time I saw it.
