Run don't walk to see "Farewell my Queen"

This is a very beautiful although dark (technically and psychologically and historically) look at the last days of the reign of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. Since it is told basically through the eyes of a servant we see not only the beauty that is Versailles, the wonderful fabrics and furniture but also the rooms of the less advantaged.

This is a real visual treat and a complex and interesting version of the events after the fall of the Bastille. The frenzy, uncertainty, fear, greed, courage and all the human emotions that could be expected in such events.

But go even if you only want to see the sets and costumes.
