| We had the same problem with our beloved Toby (lab). But our stairs WERE carpeted and he still fell. Watch your furbaby closely, if he is arthritic or has bad hips, he may still slip and fall. Awww...look at that sweetheart! Great idea for the treads. I especially like that you can easily change them if you want, unlike installed carpeting. Or, if one gets stained or damaged you can just replace it with no hassle.
