Advice on large sectional sofa from Mitchell Gold? Sign In/Join

I'm thinking of getting this large sectional sofa from http://www.mgbwhome.com/DR-PIT...OLLECTION-P8690.aspx

Has anyone seen it?

1. Does anyone have any experience with the quality of sofas from mitchellgoldla.com?

2. Do you consider this style contemporary or transitional?

Thanks.

I would call it contemporary. I don't see any traditional elements that might move it to transitional. I don't have any experience with MG furniture, but they got high marks from one of the blogs I like to view. I've linked it below.

Modern in my opinion. Their quality gets mixed reviews for their price point.

Stan, did you happen to check the store locator info on their website to determine if any retailers carry their line in your area? IIRC, they don't have retail locations but various, other retailers offer some M/G items.

Personally, if possible, I would want to kick the tires and check the quality of construction instead of (or before) incurring online shipping charges.

One thing, as an aside, didn't review the dimensions but the item appears very large in scale. Did you happen to tape off your room for whatever configuration(s) of the sectional you're planning on using?

Best of luck -
