I prefer the third one. It's a nice mix of sparkly and natural.

I concur. BTW, the door color is gorgeous.

Yep, number three. If I had to choose between the first two, I would take number one. I think the red would pull out the red of the door. I think the white poinsettias would actually appear yellow and not do much with the white siding.

Definitely number 3. It's classy and would look great with your door color.
Of the three, I prefer the third however I would add more deep red to it to tie it into your door color. The burgundy could come via flowers, plaid wired ribbon or clusters of berries. I would also light it before adding any of the above red elements I posed.
I always craft my own door decor (wreaths, sprays, baskets or even floral monogram) and have fashioned hundreds (perhaps thousands) professionally and as gifts. Most commercially made wreaths leave me flat. I realize though that not everyone can or desies to craft door decor, but you can always place a custom order via the florist at a craft store. With a picture of your door in hand, she will work with you in selecting elements and discussing the style you prefer for a one of a kind wreath. I am posing this option to you not to degrade any of these wreaths that you like, but to offer you another option for now or in the future. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Froo Froo,

Buy the one you like, hang it on the door and step back toward the front of your yard. That's where the majority of people are going to view it. If it looks good from a distance, it will look good up close. Your front door has a classy design with the brass kick plate and dark trim and if it were my front door I would keep the wreath simple. Too much embellishment just insures that nothing will show well from a distance.

Cavin has made a good point. We walk in our own front door every day but the most folks will see a wreath from a distance as they are walking or driving by.

If it were my door, I'd probably go with #2. Given the large door area (door + sidelights), I believe the contrast of the larger white/cream flowers will stand out better against the burgundy.
In fact, if Lowes had #1 but with white/cream flowers instead of red, that'd be my preference.
Beautiful door, BTW. Happy holidays!

Well I went and bought the third wreath and I really like it.
Cavin you have a great point. We have a big fence and are a ways off the road and the way that our walkway is you would only see the wreath when you get to the porch.
I am thinking about getting something in a gold pot to put on both sides of the stairs leading to the door. Maybe a small rosemary ornamental plant?
