How can I replicate this room? Sign In/Join

Hi,

I am new on this site but I love HGTV. I just found this room browsing on Google and I absolutely love the stairs/bed set up. Does anyone know how I could do something similar in my own room? The picture is attached, thanks!

Welcome! Well..the pic is kind of small and not too clear, but the words on the step risers has come up here before. Looks like they built a sturdy platform to support the bed loft style and added the stairs to access it. If you're handy or can hire a contractor, you could do something similar in your home but factor in it's permanency and how long you intend to live in your home. Keep safety in mind tho. Don't you just LOVE inspirational pics?

Wonder why no storage under the loft?

I have to go too many times during the night to manage those steps.

A pretty picture. I like the words over the window.

I like that idea of the loft bed area. From the picture comparing the height of the walls to the furniture, it almost seems like like a standard height ceilings don't you think?
