
| Welcome to the boards! I understand what you're describing but don't know exactly how I would approach it. There are lots of good decorators here and someone will know. I'd probably look through web sites and see if I can find something similar and see what they do.

| We have one like yours, and as index lady said....just ignor it and decorate like you would if it weren't slanted.
I have pictures of mine, I'll be glad to post a picture of it if you'd like.

| If you are a Symmetrical person, then create (or add molding to create an over mantel) your Symmetrical arrangement and keep it within the square or rectangle visual space you create. If you are an asymmetrical person, then go with the one-side taller arrangement where the ceiling is taller and arrange items to follow the ceiling line. I hope you will post photos when you decide, I know there are others with this situation who would love to see your solution! |
