| I've always preferred warm colored metals in decorative items, so it's nice to see them come back into fashion. Sarah has often used brass/gold chandeliers, but I saw that she used a brass colored faucet in the Sarah 101 episode set in the small condo where green was the featured color. |

| Some of us never stopped using it. |

| Ditto!
In fact, I love antiqued brass mixed with soft silver/pewter tones. I have used this combo in my various homes over the years and will continue to do so. It's classic, contemporary and slightly old world all at the same time. |

| Glad to hear Sarah is using brass and gold. That will likely make it more trendy than it has been! quote: Originally posted by aychihuahua: I love antiqued brass mixed with soft silver/pewter tones. It's classic, contemporary and slightly old world all at the same time.
Great description! I've never stopped using brass/gold metals either altho did edit my brass collection and only kept some of the antique/vintage ones. I like brass and copper together and have also sometimes used brass, copper, and silver together. No reason IMO not to use various metals together. |

| Forgot to mention that a lot of my jewelry is mixed metals! |
