Smile I always enjoy seeing the inspiration pics you post! You and Annie are the king and queen of these pics! Big Grin I was trying to recall pics that I've seen of your actual home. Please forgive me, but the only one I recall is that fabulous shot of all your dog artwork against what appears to be a raspberry colored wall above your sofa. I adore that photo. Smile Have you shown any others of your home? If not, would you indulge me and share some? Or if you have, I've somehow missed them and would love to see them again! I'm so curious about the surroundings of someone who has such fabulous inspiration pics! Razz I imagine you have created a gorgeous space for yourself. I appreciate whatever by way of your home you feel like sharing with the board!! The one photo you've shared....if it's any indication of the rest of your home....I think your actual home could serve as a wonderful inspiration to so many!! Thanks pal! Smile

I'd love to see more pics too! I can see you're good at accessorizing (my weak spot) from the wall display pic you've shown. I'm sure you have other beautiful displays.

One of these days, I'm going to get enough presentable rooms to post a photo album myself. Big Grin In the meantime, I enjoy seeing everyone else's beautiful homes.

I'd love to see more, too. I adore the dog wall. The color, the way all of the art works together, etc. Show us more! I do think I recall seeing a few other photos of asscessories and various things in your home that you posted, don't I???

Maybe one day I'll get to that point too, Lady Peach!

I'm flattered by the interest - I keep meaning to take new pictures, but then I get an OCD complex and give up because I'll see dust, cords etc.. Other rooms are on hold i.e kichen, bath, because I ran out of money in the middle of projects. As for my bedroom. see above OCD comment. LOL

So here's a mix of some older and newer.

    Jim

I put two pic together to make the full wall.

Thanks Sheetmoss! Love your collections--especially the apothecary jars! Love the wall colors too. I will have to take some cues from your wall arrangements.

Thank you so much Sheetmoss for indulging my curiosity. I appreciate you taking the time to share pics of your home with us. I continue to admire your sofa wall with all the dog artwork. It's beautifully showcased on the colored walls. You must have a green thumb to take care of all the plants. I don't know how you care for all your things. I'd have a bear of a time just dusting some of it. Thanks!!

Love the gallery style walls of dog paintings! The raspberry is a great rich color and a wonderful backdrop. And the staffordshire dogs! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful things with all of us. You obviously adore dogs, so tell me, do you have any? We have two. Cool

Thank you all for the props Big Grin

Annie17 - I live in a house, albeit, a very small house. The house is only 17ft wide on a 25ft wide standard city lot.

The plants do pose a problem, they grow!!! Some are 20-30yrs old.

Some years I take Christmas off, meaning I put up the small tree and a few other pieces, other times I like to do what amounts to a Victorian Christmas fantasy.

As for the dusting, the collections are scaled back - many surfaces in the room have very little on them. I did that a few years ago to take a breather.

I do have a dog Selena, she's a shepherd/collie mix, a cat Miss Kitty and a dove and a nanday conure parrot.

    Jim

This is Selena and "big plant." The plant was bought in 1973 and it was a foot tall, now I have to cut it back because if I really don't have room for the height/spread.

Remember in the past I said I liked Victorian and more is more looks? - this is what I eliminated from the two rooms.

I remember your kitty from when you posted that adorable pic of those 2 eye peering over your computer screen. I wish mine would do that, she insists in laying with her head on my laptop, nice and warm. It needs servicing and I'm sure it is full of cat hair!

I really love small spaces, that Apt. therapy contest every year is my favorite. I would love to sell my condo and get a very small apt. I think Mags has the right idea. Unless you can find me the perfect "shotgun"! Annie
