Ok, I am re-visiting this thread. I am still on a mission for warm white LED window candle.
My boys constantly knock them down in their bedrooms, so I need the non electrical kind to avoid a potentail disaster.

With the holiday season upon us, anyone find any?

It is ironic that you should ask! I just got some white bulbs to replace the more orangey/yellow ones. I got them from Plow and Hearth.

Well, I hate them! They look like neon lights!
Even DH noticed them....and he never notices any decor changes( which I am happy about). They are so garish that I will not be using them. This is just my opinion.

Let me know what you think if you try them.

I think the LED lights not only are bright, but they look blue when lit!

We have some LED battery powered candles at ACE and I'd been trying to find some window candles so I brought some home to try them out. They had an orange glow to them. I also was looking for white, so I was disappointed. I took them back. They were nice, but orange isn't my thing.

Seems like no matter what I looked at, they weren't what I was looking for so in the end I think I'll order the single old fashioned, plug-in kind that take a night light bulb of any color.

And to think some people out there still think a light bulb is a just light bulb. Big Grin

FYI:
The ones at Kmart flicker like a real flame, but are blueish white.

Non electrical style light this means you want a LED light which will operated by battery. So many such lights are available in the market. But your kids will still on off it. It would be better to use lights that will be attached to the wall like that of clock so, that your kids couldn't be able to on-off it.
