We bought this work table for the kitchen (photo is from Costco website - not my kitchen!)

http://www.costco.com/TRINITY-...roduct.11242572.html

The table is great - but our bar stools are bar height - so we need to find something shorter and adjustable as one of us is significantly taller than the other Wink

I found these at World Market. We definitely need something in there to warm up the space - what do you think?

I LOVE the look! I am also looking at one of those stools for our island in our kitchen! We have not built it yet, but would like to get the stool while I can find it!

Well, we made the trek down to our World Market this afternoon and the stool is really nice, so we bought two. I'll try to post pics sometime soon....

ETA: Thanks Mary Ruth - If you are looking, Target has a similar stool for less money. The ones we bought were more aesthetically pleasing to us, plus there was a slight difference in size.

I have viewed both. Thank you for the referral!

I think I like the World Market one the best, but will visit both in person!

Thanks again!

I think the Target stool is online only - but the price is sooooooo good - buy one get one 30% and free shipping on purchases over 50 (I think).

YES on that sale, I saw that, but only need ONE so that sale didn't affect me. Going to World Market today to check out this stool! The ARCH shape of the legs is what is selling me, because I am incorporating that shape into the house since we found the fireplace surround and mantel on CL last week. And I like the rounded edge of the seat.

Thank you again for sharing your find! I would have not seen this stool. This WM price is more than the Target one, but so much less than the others I have seen online! Smile

These are great! Love the steely look. The bar stools look awesome too and they would look good with the kitchen table. Great combination overall.

Next purchase will be a new rug - these are just the cheap-o Target rugs we already had. I want orange but haven't found anything yet.

another view of table and chairs (and please excuse my Saturday morning clutter!)

Very Cool JC. Just love the look.
Glad to hear that you are getting a new rug. That will make a bigger statement. Can't wait to see what you pick out.

Thank you - we had to buy something as BOTH dogs were slipping on the old linoleum and it cost us BIG MONEY in vet visits with back injuries. These green things were the least ugly inexpensive rugs Target had at the time...

Thanks junk...I had pretty much been set on subway tiles but love the shape of these. I have only seen them in bright colors before.

We were going that route too - cannot even begin to count the number of tiles we looked at. We liked the arabesque shape, but couldn't find anything but colors.

They have smaller sizes too, but FYI - our tile guys were not too thrilled with us Wink They loved the tile and did a great job, but it wasn't as easy as subway tiles!
