Lol Sonny, I had to laugh at your description of poor ol' dirty snowman Smile He does look very happy there and your entire vignette is wonderful. It's amazing what you can find at Goodwill!

Cute vignette Sonny Smile

I finally have something for MMF! I bought a chair for $15.00 that I'm hoping I have the skill to paint and reupholster. THIS IS MARY RUTH'S PICTURE NOT MINE, but the chair in the top left corner is exactly the same as mine.

The woman also gave me a free children's sled that I'm going to use on my front porch for a winter decoration.

$15.00 and free! Cha ching!

Ha ha ha Sonny Smile

Wanda, what a great looking chair. I'm sure you'll do a great job painting and reupholstering it. I'm sure you'll have fun choosing fabric for it too. Terrific price and nice bonus to get a sled. Be sure to share pictures when you're finished.

Sonny, love your vignette and he sure looks at home.

Wanda sounds like a good deal on the chair.

I am trying hard to stay away from glass and dishes but it is hard. I have a small collection of amber glass pieces. This one was at sally ann and I had a 20% coupon so I picked it up for $4.50. It is an old piece, has a major seam in it.

Thanks Skyler for getting us started! Hope all the shopping and decorating is done...only ONE more week to finish!

Sonny, Love Dirty Snowman! So cute and clever to give a new coat of paint.

Wanda, A nice bargain for the chair and of course FREE always works too.

VG, Pretty piece for your collection and a coupon too. Nice to know they let you use them too.

Well excited to say that a little lamp re-do has been accomplished. After looking 1,000's of pics, finally found some that work.

The pic doesn't show that they are a pumpkin color on the bottom. Found the perfect tassles too. Looks like Minnie Pearl forgot to take the wrapper off the shade and the tag before the pic.

Smile

Happy Monday to all. We are at my parents so I can't take time to look at all of the new threads, but I couldn't miss MMF. I love the snowman and seashells, Sonny, and thank you for your edit of Beau's Rose's picture of her perfect lamp find. Great bargain on the chair, WWanda. I look forward to seeing the "after" pictures. I can't resist a well-priced bit of china or glass either, Victorian Girl. Skyler, I hope you figure out how to post pictures from your new PC soon so you can show us your Christmas decor.

VG,
I love dishes with scallop edges, nice shape. I used a lot of Amber in my Virginia house. I even have droplets on my chandeliers that are Amber! You got a GOOD deal!

Beau's Rose,
Minnie Pearl! LOL I can see her smiling with that straw hat with price tag hanging on it!

Interesting lamps! Nautical theme!

Thanks Sonny, the larger photo does show them better. Interesting shape!

Skyler looking forward to pics too!

Grapefruit, Thanks, we were just tadpoles when she came out!

Sonny, Thanks for fixing the pic! You made it look Beau-tiful!

Graciepj, Yes, the best part of Mondays is the MMF thread. Enjoy your visit with your parents.

Mary Ruth, Her smile and "how-deee" was always fun!

Cute snowman! I'm sure he is happy to go to a good home!
The chair is going to be gorgeous.
I can picture a plum pudding with hard sauce on that beautiful amber plate, YUM!
The lamps are lovely and I can see them so much better in the second picture.

I found a Mark Roberts 36" 4 Calling Birds Fairy at a store for less than some of the small Mark Roberts fairies!! He needed a bit of glue and some stitching, but with some TLC, he looks great! I was actually looking at some of the smaller ones, but when I found him at that price...no way he was staying at the store, LOL.

I do love a great bargain!!

Merry Christmas and my T & P's for the families in CT.

Candy
