We are going to replace our solid front entry door with a new door with windows at the top. YAY! But I cannot for the life of me navigate the home depot or lowes site. Is there a way to search the site to see if the door I want is in stock?? I am just looking for a simple white front door with 6 panels of glass at the top. Is is so hard to find!! TIA!!
I didn't check out Lowe's, but looked @ the Home Depot site...did you enter a zip code for the store nearest you? Apparently there are many items they do not sell online, and entering the zip code gives you access to see what is at the store.
(I didn't see any 6 lite doors, but did see a couple of 9 lites...of course that was from my zip code so you very well might get different results.)
Unfortunately the website may not be up to date as to whether the store actually has the door in stock even if you find it online. I would look on line and call especially if you have a ways to travel to get there. But lots of times they have stuff in the store that isn't shone online so I'd probably just go to look anyway.

Home Depot's website is horrible and it not at all accurate for what they truly have in stock at the store. We just built a new home and had the hardest time trying to find what we needed with them. We bought most of our supplies at Lowes as Home Depot's stock seems to be dwindling in the store and online. (And I used to be a big HD fan.)

OL - you might also google some door names - like Stanley or Peachtree etc and see what they have. HD and Lowes is not the end all be all when it comes to such things - they have the middle of the road, common stuff and that's about it. They do have catalogs at the store where you can order something special. But there are a lot of door mfgrs out there that aren't carried by the BB stores - and you might find something that's really perfect!! Happy shopping
