Yes it is huge! I guess they are still working on the NEW site. Did they notify us that they would be altering the old site because I never saw it!

Yes GINORMOUS! lol they obviously did something different to the site.

I also noticed that I was saving photos at the 150MB size and they 'stretch' the page to the right... so I need o lower the MB size to post...

Yes it's ginormous. You should check out how large Handie Annie avatar is on the Honey thread on the Entertaining and Food mb; you can't even read what she wrote.

I don't know why yours is so large because it's just 20.94 KB (21,440 bytes) and other board members whose avatars are 20 KB aren't as large.

If you have Windows office you can use the window picture manager tool to resize your avi and resubmit it to your profile. I had to do that for my rooster pic.

OK, I know I have been away for a couple of days, but when I read this only one thing kept coming into my mind, and remember this IS Friday too...

SIZE does matter! in this case...at least. as I chuckle... and drift away... forgive me, it was there to take... and I am sure some of you thought of it! lol

Yes, annie's looks like a work of art!

I know what will happen, as soon as I shrink mine down in Photoshop they will fix the boards and then my avatar will be the size of microfilm...:-p

and I still can use the emoticons!

Most avatars are larger than they were but some are "gimoungous". LOL You've created a new word!

With most of life situations I agree but this is a situation where the techs have made several functions on the board worse or non-functioning so IMO they need to rectify these problems. Not for the first time in the history of this board either.
