A very large metal birdcage! Have been wanting one for years, but they are so pricey if you can find them, even at second-hand stores. We were on our way to the grocery and there it sat, out by the curb. I knocked on the door to see if indeed it was being tossed...and, yes, it was! I want it put in the master bath with a fern inside. I'll scrub it first and spray it white...I'm sooooooo excited!!!

be sure to share a before and after! I have my GM's old canary cage - solid metal and my DF spray painted it black. Stunning!

Lucky you! These also look good hanging from the ceiling with LED candles in them.

Picture attached: Here is one I bought in Virginia, the lady had just moved up from West Coast Florida, I told her I was bringing it back to Florida! I painted this one gray. It has no bottom but we are going to attach it to a small table with tile on the top so it becomes the cage bottom.
I have mine outside right now, too big for the inside of my house. I LOVE bird cages! I have seen quite a few here on CL and it takes self discipline to NOT buy them!
I hope you can post photos of your B & A!

CJO, Please post photo! ALL bird cages are worth looking at! I wish I could collect a lot so that I could hang them all over the yard!
BTW, mine was all rusted and pitting, I cleaned it up and painted it that is why it looks good now, but after a year in the yard, it will need refreshing again!
