Is there an easy way to paint shutters? Sign In/Join

Hello Guys,

I am painting shutters which are on the front of some mounted cabinets in my bathroom. Is there some easy way to paint them without taking them down? I've already primed and I have the paint which matches the rest of the unit.

Thank You

Are there hinges, latches and such? I would thing they would need to be taken down, layed out flat so you don't get 'runs'.

Hope it turns out the way you want Smile

No. Not an easy way. You can tape off everything around them, then get a very small, fine brush so you can cut in around all the hardward, edges, etc. By far, the easiest way is going to be to remove them and spray (easiest) or brush paint. But doing them while still attached will create more headaches than it's worth.
