Well my projects are totally stalled. Still no compressor. Cry (they are waiting on a part that was ordered but has not come in).

I could do more with outside- and I should get to that soon.... there are a few rainy days in the forecast, so I'll have to work around that.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to jump start projects with things that don't require my nail gun.

Not sure what that will be yet.

Oh- and junk collector, I do want to build a Tardis, but I've not started yet.

I hope things are moving along better for the rest of you.

I keep telling DH that my next car will be a blue cooper mini with a vanity plate identifying us as "Whovians" Big Grin

In the meantime, I did paint this weekend, but not the walls. I have a few metal pieces just sitting around waiting for a purpose, and since we started decluttering, I pulled these out for painting. This is the before - and I promise the after will knock your socks off (you'll just have to wait a day or two to see!).

Hi TQ,

Hope you get that part soon. Waiting is so frustrating when you have projects!

Most of my list is on Hold for Now too. Helping DD paint her new appt and move the next few weeks. Plus we have a week of family reunion including a BD party for a DearAunt. She will be 90 and wants a bowling party. That's how she stays young.

Good Luck deciding on your next project.

DH and I have been busy...we removed bunch of sod from two areas in the front yard and transplanted it into the backyard. Then, in those areas, which are elevated (imagine grass mounds Roll Eyes) to raise the foundation plantings, we built rock retaining walls. We then pulled out all the overgrown and over sheared yews (perfect name). That was in the previous two weeks. Sat. and Sun., we bought and planted about 30 shrubs and now we need to transplant perennials to fill in. But first, I'm going to Shipshewana with a friend. Yay! Among other things, I'll be shopping for plants...glutton for punishment? Big Grin

I have finally finished planting flowers. I swear I will not plant this many next year, but they look so pretty and will only get prettier as they grow and fill the pots.

It is cool here now and I am planning on sorting out things in my upstairs, I am putting each child's things in a box for each and give it to them at the holidays. One of my daughters has been married for 25 years and her wedding bouquet is still here so that is going in her box along with school report cards, none of the kids know that I saved those cards and I cannot wait to see there faces when they open these boxes.

I figure if I work several hours a day I should get done in a week.

Here's one done. The other didn't come out with such a shiny paint surface and will need another coat. This is the first time I've used ORB and am pretty happy with the results!

We bought a fabulous antique oak shelf at an estate sale two weeks ago, and I think we'll hang these next to it. I'll use the flameless/battery operated candles in these.
