Foam inserts for pillows (aka pillow forms) can be found in sewing/craft stores like Joanns (perhaps Hobby Lobby?). Look for store coupons to save on them. Do use Sunbrella or a comparable outdoor fabric for your cushions. They'll hold up better to sunlight, rain, etc. and are mildew resistent.

I have some outdoor fabric...but there are a couple prints I really want for my outdoor room, so I will also be using indoor cotton. However, I don't have to worry about sun because it's shaded where they will be...but I'm going to have to be careful about bringing them in when it's going to rain.
Big lots is a good idea and I'll check out joann and hobby lobby.
This is a good way to use up any old pillows that you have around the house. They can be covered in any fabric that you like and then waterproofed if need be. You might also try yard sales. For some reason they seem to be very popular in our area. Don't buy the throw pillows, buy the bed pillows and cut them down to size. (bed pillows always seem to be cheaper)
