This one is advertised at "top grain leather"...Costco also carried one similar to this one that was "bonded" leather (which I did go check out one that was on craigslist, too plasticy)

This would be a good fit for me except I'm working towards turning my car in and getting a new one, so any money right now is tied up on that.

I did email for a swatch just in case later they have this discount again thru Costco and I am ready for my LR furniture.

This is likely no help but I do know someone who ordered a leather sofa online from Costco and they said it looked cheap so returned it to the store. Costco is good about returns.

I always recommend trying upholstered furniture before buying as you never know how it will feel or the quality unless you see it, sit, and lay down on it. Too much effort to return things for me to buy otherwise.

A1SB, watch out when you see wording like this:

"Top Grain Leather on all seating surfaces with leather match on sides and back."

Q: What is leather match?
A: An alternative to 100% leather, leather match combines top-grain leather on the portions of the furniture you sit on and touch with skillfully matched vinyl on the sides and back of the furniture.

Thanks Still Tryin-I think my current couch and chair are like that...real stuff on seats and back and something differnet on back and sides, you can barely tell.

In regards to this sectional, it would just depend on how it looked and the 2 leathers/material blended.

Now the sectional I have my eye on or I should say dream sectional is about $5k when it's ON SALE at Thomasville...THAT is alot of money...well for me it is.
