Found this floral bedskirt at TJMaxx last night.

My first thought was a bronzy brown solid quilt and maybe red sheets.

Besides red sheets, what other color sheets would you consider with a solid bronzy-brown quilt?

Here is the print of the bedskirt.

I have a couple other pics to post too.

Well, I'm a fan of white bed sheets- works with most colors. I'm not an imaginative person so I'm having difficulty with all that brown on bed skirt. It would be nice to have shams / pillowcases matching bedskirt to tie it all together. It's a beautiful print. I'm sure there will be someone along with a better eye to guide you.

They did have matching pillow shams but they were $30. EACH. and I only paid $35. for the bedskirt. Besides, I really dont like extra pillows, they just get in the way.

I currently have white sheets, but the bedskirt is a light cream backgroud not white. I am ready for new sheets anyways so I dont mind buying a new set of sheets.

Oooh, I really like that! At first look I thought the turqoise, but the when I saw the second pick of the whole bed skirt, I changed my mind to the red. I happen to love red and brown together.

I think the quilt & red sheets will work nicely. Bed skirts are usually so expensive so that was a good deal, but too bad they couldn't mark down the pillow shams. Maybe keep an eye out. You don't have to have the pillow shams. I have been moving away from "sets" myself.

That's a beautiful bedskirt and a great price.

I would take that to the store and hold it up to different color sheets and see which one works the best, you may even find a cream patterned one that'll work like the RL example you showed. I love the red for the winter, but I would want a lighter colored set for the summery months.

Always,

Love that pattern. It looks bright and fun.

What about gray or cobalt blue, aqua? Of course red works too.

Most of all..have fun and show us what you decide to put with it.

They did have the sheets that go with that bedding, but I didn't really like it.

I will attempt to find a patterned sheet, but if all else fails, I will just do a solid.

Wow my eyes are bad...I thought from the pic you posted it was more of a tan neutral patterned sheet set....I agree that set doesn't rock my boat.

Try tjmaxx and Marshall's if you have them near you.

Pretty! Love the way RL puts pattern together.
I'm a pattern on pattern person myself...I have a floral bedskirt with a patch work quilt and checked sheets and I'm working on adding more patterns to the mix. Solids don't float my boat, so I'd be looking for stripes, florals, plaids and maybe a solid color throw to top it all off.

I have been looking for a solid colored quilt or light comforter in a bronze brown color...so I've been hauling around the bedskirt in my purse..I was thinking jcpenny had a solid quilt that would match but they didn't have the color I was looking for in the store. I still want to go back to tjmaxx where they had a quilt that matched pretty good and take a look at that. I want to put the bedskirt on my bed but I Need it to compare colors for a quilt..

I am considering ordering this quilt/sham set from JCPenney.

The one quilt I thought might match at TJMaxx probably would have done ok, but it was a weird muddy clay brown...I didn't really care for it.

Although I could probably find something a little cheaper at Ross, Marshalls, TJMaxx or someplace like that, I think this JCPenney one would match...

Do you think the small square pattern of the the quilt would be ok with the floral/paisely print of the bedskirt or should I try to find a quilt with a different pattern on it?

Always, I think this one from JCP will be fine with the bedskirt. I would give it a try and see if you like it. If not, just return it. Smile

That's what I was thinking...if the color is off I can always return it to the store.

Thanks for the reply.
