Maybe some of you are familiar with this young woman's website and decorating. I just saw her this a.m. on Nate Burkus and thought she was very creative and clever.
I would call the style eclectic, which means a mixture of styles or stylistic influences. I see a little bit of vintage, some contemporary, and a lot of casual. cocok, I totally agree. I liked that so much that I was describing it to my husband in the car yesterday. It looked like a great piece of contemporary art and then to read the genesis of it makes it even more special!
Oh, also agree about your description of Ashley's style.
I love this style. I would love to do this style in my home. I noticed her home has very sleek lines. My house has oak trim & traditional spindles on the stairs. I wonder if it would have the same feel.
